Happy Holidays!

Evan was the most well behaved child this past Saturday during a holiday photo shoot. This is him just being his little handsome self.

Model Pose.

He is such a great big brother.
Watch out Evan! Ava might be thinking something evil.

"Corey Showed me this"

This video was taken four months after Corey had shown Evan a goody dance move at the block party of 2008. That four second act, made a huge impression on Evan, who had stored it in his memory for safe keeping.

Grandpa Peanut

One evening Evan wanted a bath. He loved his bath so much, that when Desirie told him it was time to get out, he refused. So she let him stay and left the bathroom to make something in the kitchen. All of a sudden she heard Evans panic stricken voice screaming "mama! MAMA!!!" He was severely bothered and scared. She walked into the bathroom to find Evan standing in the tub looking very upset holding his hands out. Desirie looked at his hands and saw that they had wrinkled from staying in the water too long. Evan looked up at Desirie and exclaimed "I Look Like Grandpa Peanut!"

Mr.Peanut

By far my most favorite costume Desirie ever created! This picture always cracks me up. He is so cute!

Evan and Aunt Jayne

Together, Thanksgiving 2008. He loved the Brownie Trifle I made!

He's a Maniac!

Evan danced the afternoon away at my wedding this year on February 22nd. He sure can dance!

Papa Smurf

This Year Evan was very excited to go Trick-or-Treating. He was Papa Smurf, only for the actual day of Halloween on Saturday. Because for his first grade class party on Friday, the red pants were evidently too embarrassing.

Uncle Corey and Evan

Corey's 19th Birthday Party, Evan and him didn't plan on wearing matching outfits, but it was very tender.

What a memory!

When Evan was about 2 I came over to his house with a plugged ear that had been bothering me for days. So Desirie rolled a Kleenex between her fingers and stuck it in my ear while I lay on the couch to relieve the pressure. A few days later, I walked in the house and Evan looked at me sweetly and asked, "Ye-ye is your ear all better?"

He's willing to suffer for Fashion

When Evan was 2 1/2 he was all about the super heroes. He loved Batman around this time in his life and the fact that his sleeper pajamas disguised him as Batman was all the better! This is a picture of just how devoted Evan was to his Super Hero. The obvious pain that these pajamas were creating was put aside for the sake of looking cool just like Batman.

He never forgets!

Evan has always had an amazing memory. From the age of 2 years old it was evident. My cousin Lily once told him what the letters on her sweats said "Syracuse". The very next time she showed up to the house with the pants on, he very tenderly repeated what she had told him from weeks before, he would say "saaacuse". "saaacuse!" as his little pointer finger touched the lettering along her leg. He was a very tender little guy. Lily then rewarded his genius with a swing around the old living room!

Evan's Sweet Tooth

Evan wasn't always a finicky eater, when he was a baby he was quite huge. At around the age he started running around like crazy, his appetite went away. He would take a few bites and call it quits on a meal. However there is one thing that brings Evan back to the table and that one thing is SUGAR! He has a sweet tooth like you'd never believe. He loves ice cream, cupcakes, brownies, candy, you name it! He goes right for the good stuff. I have to make sure to keep my candy dish full when he visits my home. He's a little sweetie.

The Sweetest Little Guy I Know

I can't explain why, but out of my older sisters five children, I have a soft spot for this little cutie. He is now 6 years old and growing up very fast. But he still will always be that very tender little fat baby in my eyes. He and I have a connection, we think alike maybe. This blog will be all about Evan and all the funny, cute and sweet things he does and has done.
